We began by understanding the needs of the community. Through primary research and secondary research methods, we connected directly with residents, local business owners, government officials and schools to hear what they ultimately needed and wanted from a public green space in the city.
The research had shown there was a deep need in the community for spaces to relax and connect with others as well as provide food and education to local schools and individuals.
Using the data we collected from interviews, questionnaires, interactive workshops we set out to create a proposed plan for the space that incorporated the key themes emerging.
To spread awareness and encourage involvement around the new development, we created a branded identity to encapsulate everything this space could be for to the community.
